We offer a seamless one-stop shop for complete solutions for electric mobility connectors including development, stamping and overmoulding in a single process.
Expert partner for development: own toolmaking and development department enables quick results.
Through our own toolmaking shop, a quick reaction to implement prototypes is possible. With over 40 years of experience in precision stamping Kummer has a high level of materials expertise, for metal electric mobility connectors as well as for overmoulded housings. Depending on the application area, we have experience with the respectively suitable material.
Our stamping presses have a press force range from 25 to 125 tonnes and a stamping speed of over 1000 strokes per minute. We process metal strips with a width up to 400 mm and a thickness in the range of 0.04 to 3 mm in ferrous and non-ferrous metals with tin, zinc, nickel, silver and gold surfaces and bondable materials.
Simple to highly-complex parts are produced in small and large-scale series production.

The EloPin® is the most reliable press-in technology for printed circuit boards. The EloPin® is a modified needle-eye press-fit zone which functions as a mechanical press-fit connector. As a solder-free press-fit connection, the EloPin® is particularly suitable for application areas in electric mobility for tight applications where access is difficult.
With over 15 years of production experience, Kummer is one of the most experienced producers of these pins.
